Activities and Things to Do in Cabo

“Cabo” loosely refers to either one of two Cabos, or Los Cabos. Cabo San Lucas is regarded as the most happening place in the Baja peninsula. Frequented by tourists from all over the world, many Hollywood celebrities and famous people own prime real estate here. These vacation homes, either situated on the beach or perched atop a hill, remain unoccupied for the most part of the year. During the busy season, vacationers flock here to enjoy the cool climate and, for some, the party atmosphere. On the other hand, San Jose del Cabo has a more laid-back vibe, where people to ride their bicycles or go for leisurely walks. And then there’s the Tourist Corridor in between, where you will find 5-star resorts lining either side of the highway.

Wherever you decide to stay, you will be able to enjoy the myriad activities on offer: whale watching from December to April, world fishing tournaments (check out the Bisbee’s) in October, snorkeling, golfing, and shopping year-round. If you’re a party animal, things could heat up in the night when you visit Cabo Wabo, El Squid Roe, or any of the bars on the shortest strip in the world. For other options, you can check out the different activity parks around the area, visit a flower farm, go horseback/camel riding, or simply hang out on the beach.
