Welcome to Grassroots.Travel
A humble way of experiencing the world
We are a couple who are excited to share with you what we have experienced in our extensive travels to beautiful places around the world. Our goal is to connect you with trustworthy locals whom we personally know. They are individuals who have a modest operation, and we hope that you’ll join us in supporting their business.
We think SMALL.
We love small groups and genuine local hospitality.
We believe in LOCAL.
For us, being local goes beyond birthright.
Our dream is to be part of a grassroots movement that facilitates business for local companies, thereby generating a sustainable livelihood for the community.
We enjoy SIMPLE PLEASURES.
What's the next adrenaline rush?
Grassroots.Travel chooses to focus on down-to-earth experiences and finding pleasure in everyday life. Let us take you to places where you can be present in the moment and fully enjoy your local experience.
We love NEW DISCOVERIES.
The world is your oyster!
Whatever your reason for traveling may be, we are here to connect you with humble and genuine individuals in the places that call to you.
We strive to be DIFFERENT.
It is human nature to try to belong.
We at Grassroots.Travel love to help you fill your travel journal with popular adventures. At the same time, we’d like to introduce you to experiences that we hope will leave you inspired.

LOCAL IN THE SPOTLIGHT
Antonio RIP, Apr 2023
"I treat each guest like family."
It’s hard to beat Tonio’s local knowledge when it comes to trips in the areas around La Paz and the Sea of Cortez. He was in the tourism industry for more than 30 years, so he knew the area like the back of his hand. But what we loved most about Tonio was that he genuinely cared for people.
