Out and About

Activities and Things to Do in La Paz

Those who haven’t been to La Paz recently will be surprised at the changes that this tranquil town has gone through in recent years. After the Covid-19 pandemic, La Paz tourism picked up and is, in fact, is in full swing. The real estate boom that this capital city is currently experiencing has greatly contributed to the influx of tourists in the region.

Aside from the popular trips to Espiritu Santo Island to snorkel with sea lions and whale shark tours to swim with the largest fish in the ocean during the season, people also come to La Paz for the beautiful pristine beaches such as Balandra, Tecolote, and Pichilingue. Locals have become creative and are now offering bike tours, sand boarding in the dunes of Mogote, local food tasting, and more.

If you’re a foodie, don’t forget to check out the gastronomy scene in La Paz. Just take the La Paz restaurant reviews with a grain of salt; each one of us has a different taste.
