Private Sightseeing and Beach Road Trip
Sunny weather and turquoise waters lapping along sandy beaches always come up when people talk about Mexico. The Baja peninsula boasts miles and miles of coastline around it. On the Sea of Cortez side, La Paz is known for a few famous beaches. Topping the list is Balandra Beach, which is technically a bay with seven different beaches. Closely following Balandra mushroom and its beaches are the bays around Espiritu Santo Island, namely Ensenada Grande Beach and Candelero Beach. Closer to port, Tecolote Beach and Pichilingue Beach are also popular beach destinations.
Due to its warm climate and relatively affordable cost of living, more and more people are moving to Mexico. This mass exodus to the south has triggered a real estate boom in Baja California, with land and beachfront properties being sold left and right. The availability of prime real estate in different payment schemes has also prompted an influx of tourists in Baja, making it more challenging to find deserted beaches where one can enjoy nature in peace and solitude.
This full-day remote La Paz beaches excursion aims to take you away from the crowd while making the most out of your road trip. Not only will you have plenty of beach time, you will also get to go on a city tour and do some sightseeing along the less-traveled back roads. This is certainly not your ordinary day trip!
Insider Notes
The beach in Punta Arena is usually deserted on weekdays, but sometimes Mexican telenovelas and Netflix series are filmed in this location. On the rare occasion that this happens, we will find a spot for you on this very long strip of beach, or we will take you to one of the other remote La Paz beaches we know.
